Hello everyone so I am transferring my blog onto Blogger/blog spot! Mark sure to follow me on there for more recent/better uploads all together! THANK YOU XOXO web Site= reallysophie.blogspot.co.uk
Today I have a Haul for you! This is going to be on my recent Make-Up Brush Haul from the 2 Highstreet stores, MAC and Zoeva. I have 7 new brushes across these brands and thought I would share them with you as I got them very close to each other.
6 of the brushes are from the German brand, Zoeva. The other one is from MAC. Enjoy♡
So the first 3 brushes are all eye related brushes. The first ones are the Zoeva 227 & 221. I have decided to talk about these ones together as they are extremely similar. The 221 Zoeva brush is actually a dupe for the 217 from MAC and works in the same way. It is just a Fluffy Eye Blender Brush that blends eyeshadow – whether cream or a regular shadow – really really well, I would definitely recommend.
The last eye brush in the haul is an Angled Brow Brush. This is the MAC 263 Angled Brush. I use this for my brows with gel as the brush is very thin and you can create extremely pricise lines. Out of the 208, 266 and 263, the 263 is my favourite by far.
Onto the face now, and the first brush I knew I wanted from the start, was the 104 Zoeva Buffer Brush. I am currently obsessed with Flat Top Buffing Brushes, so I thought that I would definitely have to pick this one up. I love using this to blend in concealer and foundation, (It blends incredibly well!)
The next brush is also for foundation and it is the Zoeva Silk Finish Brush. Before purchasing it I had heard so many good things about it. This 102 brush blends my foundation whilst I’m applying it. It’s also very soft and efficient. This is because It blends and applies your Make-Up at the same time so Is the opposite of time consuming.
Next up is the Zoeva Powder Polish Brush which is also known as the Zoeva 107. When using this brush I like to pat the Powder around my face as I feel like this way the product really stays put on my complexion. Overall this is one of my favourite brushes out of them all.
Last but not least, I have my Concealer Buffer Brush by Zoeva which is number 142. This looks very similar to the RT Delux Crease Brush, however the Zoeva one is slightly bigger and when blending in the concealer on my face I feel like it blends in so well, without any harsh lines.
So everyone, that was my Highstreet Brush Haul! I hope you found it interesting and found out a little bit more the brushes I am into!

Today I have my Everyday School Make-up! Just to mention, I am allowed to wear make-up to school and I do chose to do that. This make-up is very similar to my weekend looks, so I hope you enjoy!♡
So to start out, I will moisturise and prime my face. I prime with the L’Óreal Mattifying Primer because it sets an even base for the rest of my make-up. For foundation, this changes pretty much every week. This week I am using a mixture of my L’Óreal True Match in N3, and the Rimmel Match Perfection in 100, Ivory.
To blend this into my skin, I will use the Buffing and Expert Face Brush by Real Techniques.
For concealer I will use a mixture of 2 different ones. The first I will use to cover blemishes and the second I will use to highlight. The highlighting concealer I will use is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in number 1 which is Fair. As for the other, It is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in Ivory.
To set all of the products on my face, currently I am using the Rimmel Stay Matte in the shade 005. I will use the Duo Fibre Face Brush by RT to set all the make-up to ensure it stays put for longer.
Next is eyebrows! To brush them I will use my Too Faced eyebrow pencil and will use the spoolie side. Then, to fill them in and shape them a bit more evenly, I will use my Sleek Eyebrow Kit. Mine is in the shade Light, or 373. I will then use a gel to set them in place.
At the moment I am using a Maybelline Eyebrow Gel in Transparent. I would usually use my Benefit Gimme Brow, but I actually don’t know where it is at the moment!
Now for Eyes! Everyday I will use the same eyeshadow, apart from the few acceptions. I use the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Creamy Beige. I apply this with my RT brush and then blend it with another one. I will then use my L’Óreal Super Liner and line my top lash line but I won’t do a flick.
Now for mascara, I switch this up every weekend! At the moment I am using a mixture of MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash, and the Sensational Lashes Mascara by Maybelline. Last of all I will put on a lip balm, and at the moment I am using the Palmers Lip balm in Original.
So that is all the make-up I wear on a school day I hope you enjoyed this post, and have a good day!

The post I have for you today is going to be all of the mascaras that I have currently. Just to say, just because I have this amount of mascaras does not mean I’m gonna wear them all, all the time. Mascara is one of my favourite aspects of make-up, so this is what I choose to spend some of my money on. Enjoy!
So I can’t remember in which order I got these, but I can remember that this was one of the first I was given. This is the: The Max Volume Flash Mascara by Rimmel London. I can’t remember a time when this was ever my favourite mascara, and I still never really reach for it. But it has a very soft brush as it isn’t a plastic applicator, so it gives a more natural look.
I can remember buying this mascara only because I was so desperate to own something by MAC. Come to think now, I don’t really wear this mascara often. Probably because I just own ones that in my opinion are better? I wouldn’t really recommend this, purely because it is quite clumpy. However, if you do like a more clumpy effect, then this one would be more suited to your taste.
This next mascara is actually clear and isn’t a regular mascara. This is kind of like a mascara primer and a conditioner. I didn’t even realise what this was until I was making this post. And since I have, I have been using it underneath my regular mascara and it has helped it to just stay on for a little bit longer. I actually used to use this as a brow gel! Another thing I love about this is that when you pull out the wand, there is a thing inside the bottle that takes of all of the excess mascara so it doesn’t clump!
This mascara is another one that I don’t really reach for. Probably because I have a tester size so it kinda gets squished under all my full sized ones! When I do use this, for me it does lengthen my lashes a little, but it doesn’t thicken them at all. The shade I have is 01 BLACK.
This was meant to be one of the best bottom lash mascaras that has ever been in the Drugstore. However, I think a little differently?! This is not a high impact mascara and doesn’t really do much for me. I never use this on my top lashes because of the size of the brush. It is very small and can’t coat normal top lashes. But, I do choose to keep it because when I do other people’s make-up it tends to create a better effect on them.
This is one of my favourite mascaras I have ever owned. This separates and coats your lashes in the most fine formulae and it also lengthens them. I would recommend this mascara however, the price is not going to be reasonable for all of you. This is roughly £20 so it will take a lot of saving! I know that there are a few dupes for this, but it’s always cool owning a bit of Benefit! 🙂
So this is also one of my favourite mascaras ever. This is for many reasons but the main one would be the brush and wand. The brush is curved so when placed on the lashes it can coat all of them with only a few strokes. However, with other wands, they are just straight and to coat the lashes evenly, you need to take a little bit more time. That’s why I like using this in the morning for school as it saves time and gives the same, or better effect then other mascaras.
Now with this mascara, it does run out quite quickly but it is also quite cheap so it doesn’t matter too much. The brush gets smaller as you reach the end of it but gives great length to the lashes. A good thing about this mascara is that it comes in a variety of different colours, like: black, purple and blue. So if you don’t like a plain black mascara, you always have alternatives.
So again this is a Maybelline mascara, and it is the yellow one with pink writing. I always get confused about the packaging because pretty much all of their other mascaras have the same shape and are quite easy to get confused with. The best thing about this mascara wand is that it is curved and not 100% straight. This wand has a curve as you can see from the photo above and the shape really helps to volumize each individual lash.
So I hope you enjoyed this post! I’m looking forward to making more collection posts like this in the future!

So today I have a little story to tell as you can see by the title of the post. I was so lucky and will tell you how it went. Enjoy!
So on the 9/4/15 I went to Brighton with my cousin and a few others. It was at about 1 O’clock in the afternoon and my cousin and I went to Boots by Churchill Square. We went upstairs where the photo printing was because we were waiting for our friends.
We were actually going to leave the store as we had been in there for about 10 minutes, but I got a call from my friend and were talking about where we were going to meet up. Whilst on the phone, I saw someone walk in (Zoë) with a friend, and I said to my cousin “Is that Zoë!?” We turned around and saw her walk up to the photo printing. She was there for a minute and then went to leave the store.
On her way out, a little girl stopped her and took a photo and me and my cousin did the same thing. Zoë said ‘hi’, took my phone, and took a selfie with my cousin and I. I was so happy! She said “Nice to meet you” and we walked away and carried on with our days!
I was so overwhelmed because she was incredibly becautiful in real life and was wearing an amazing outfit too. She wore a cream ankle length dress with blue stripes, and a light denim jacket over the top. She was so down to earth! Here is the photo that she took:

So a few days ago, I went to Brighton shopping with my friend. Whilst I was there, I bought some clothes, but I also bought some make-up. I didn’t buy that much make-up, however, the items I did buy, I am fairly happy with.
I am just going to show you the make-up I’ve bought, purely because I didn’t buy many clothes on that day. Enjoy!
1) The first item I bough was the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara. I had never tried this mascara before I actually bought it, so apart from reading and watching reviews online, I didn’t really know what it was supposed to be like. This was only £4.99, so I wasn’t exactly investing in a very expensive product. But I’m glad I did buy it as it is the best bottom lash mascara I have ever used.
2) Next, I bought the Collection Eye Definer in 2 Dark Brown. I didn’t actually mean to buy this as I picked up the wrong product by accident. However, I did get it for free because it was part of a 3 for 2 deal. But on its own it would have been £1.19, or in some stores, even cheaper.
3) The last product in the 3/2 part, was the Rimmel London Apocalips. I had been wanting one of these for a while, but whenever I walked into a shop, I never really thought of buying one. However, I did! The colour I got was 600 Nude Eclipse. This is a slightly beigey nude, so I probably wouldn’t wear this every single day. Also, personally, I think to wear this type of lip lacquer, you kind of have to wear make-up all round your face, especially the eyes because of the shade. But as a whole, I really do like this product.
4) The next thing I bought was a cream eyeshadow. This eyeshadow is one of the Maybelline Colour Tattoos. I already own one of the regular effect eyeshadows from this collection. So I bought one of the leather effect ones instead. The shade is 98 Creamy Beige, and in the pot, it looks like a chocolatey brown colour. But when swatched, it actually looks quite gingery which in my opinion, would make it harder to work with, especially because it has a leather effect.
5) Now, onto my favourite item of the haul, it is the Too Faced Eye Brow Pencil. This was in the clearance for £7! It is a full sized pencil and was the perfect shade for my brows. It is also double sided, so one side has the pencil, an the other has a spoolie. The spoolie is actually very firm. I really like it because it brushes very well, and is just amazing overall. Also, If you were to invest in this product, I would recommend setting your brows with a brow gel. I use the Gimme Brow by Benefit as I mentioned in my latest Brow Routine!
So that was my March Haul! I really hope you enjoyed reading it because I will have a great time trying all the products out! Have a good rest of your day!
Thank-you for reading!♡
Today I have a little routine for you all! Firstly, I would just like to say sorry for the late post. I don’t really have any excuses, although I did go to a theme park on Sunday so I couldn’t post then, but I have a post for you now.
1) So the first thing I will do when doing my eyebrows, is that I will comb them through. Usually, I will do this with the end of my brow pencil, or just a spoolie. The one I use quite frequently is the Rimmel Professional Eyebrow pencil; I will use the combing side.
To make them look not as sparce. I will then fill them in a little bit with the other end of the pencil. The colour I use is 002 Hazel. I love to use this pencil because it is quite light, so it doesn’t make your brows look to overdrawn or fake. Also, this is only about £6 I think and it lasts for a very long time.
2) To set my brows in place, I will either use a Maybelline Brow Gel, or recently I have been using my Gimme Brow by Benefit. I mentioned this in my Wish List post, and I picked up the courage to buy it, and I’m glad I did!
The Gimme Brow is basically a tinted brow gel, that comes in two colours, and it has a teeny tiny brush. This way, each and every individual brow hair can be coated with the gel to make it stay in place. This is quite an expensive product, however, I love having it in my kit, it’s so useful!
So as you can see I only use 2 different products on my eyebrows, but they, out of all my makeup, stay on the longest. I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and have a good rest of your day!
